So i picked this shell up in the end of November. What the plans are for it is to have a nice 350 hp daily driver. Before i got this shell i also bought a 97 gsx auto. The body is in kinda rough shape so thats the reason i got the shell. Over this winter i am going to be cleaning up the shell and removing any rust on the car. Then this spring when the shell is finished with the resto i will pull the motor from the other car and swap it into the shell. And it also has all black interior. So check it out cant wait for the car to be done

Plans :
Remove any and all rust
Powdercoat and repaint everything i can
When motor is out :
Headgasket and all other gaskets
Paint block
Clean the motor up a bit
Will also be running a big 16g
Wire tuck with fuse box in glove box
Battery relocation.
Coilovers
Gram lights
Brembo brake swap
Edm tails
Headlight retrofit

What spots have Rust?

Heres pretty much the worst rust in the wells. Hopefully what looks like small holes doesnt turn into the whole entire rocker being gone. Any other rust is minor surface rust i can just sand down and there is no strut tower rust.

It's almost like those areas were built just to catch rocks/dirt/salt and cause rust. I have to fix mine as well.

Mitsu was stupid and sucked at sealing our cars and yea they were basically im most likely going to just cut out the part and make it just flat against the well

Working on getting the bay completely striped and preped for paint. Also have a new wiring harness on the way. Working on getting both sub frames dropped to get blasted and powder coated along with all the suspension parts also. Call this operation get ready for the shootout now.

Brembo brackets mounted sending calipers off to detective coatings to be cloated and rebuilt. New wiring harness came in time to start striping for my tuck. All front suspention parts being blasted and coated at my work also.

Small update on roxy. Got all my parts for my motor to be assebled. Heading to the machine shop this week. Also bought a few more goodies. Engine bay is also coming along will hopfully be painted this coming weekend.

Update on the daily build. Engine bay sandblasted and roughed up ready for paint maybe get primered this weekend. Edm mirrors mounted. Front suspention parts all powder coated and new bushings on the way. Next will be to start working on the motor and start assembly.

Do you know anyone that could fix my rusted rockers. They are mostly gone. Any idea how much?

Your best bet would be finding a cleaner shell. If they are mostly gone it would be pointless to fix.
