PivotBall, Clutch Release Fork. Ok to not get OEM?

I just wanted to know if it is ok to just get one from Autozone, or Oriellys? Or should I spend the extra and get an OEM. My budget ran out a long time ago, so I would like to go as cheap as possible, but its not worth it if I have to tear it all apart again later...
