piston rings or head gasket?

Let me start off by saying that my compession is off! cyliders one and four are 180 , cylinder 2 is 120 and cylinder 3 is 110! on top of that my car is overheating and just recently the car bogs, (similar to having a loose ic pipe)

I guess the only place to start is to open it up! so far I've taken all head bolts off , took off manifold, I took the cams off, took off thermostate housing, and throttle linkage (sp)! head wiggles but it looks like something is keeping the intake manifold down!

any clues on what Im missing?

There should be a intake braket underneath it to support the intake, check all under it and everything. Have you checked the oil? if the oil is like a milky looking color then yes the headgaskets blown, if not then it could be old piston rings and the engine needs a rebuild.
I would check all under the intake and everything and see if there is a manifold bracket. hope some of this helps

I've checked the oil and its fine! I guess I know whats instore for me!
