WOW.. your engine bay looks so much cleaner then mine.. so jealous

I spent a lot of time running wire where it wouldn't be seen and I also painted the engine bay in flat black while i had everything out. So it took quite the time and effort to make it look that clean.

Haven't had time to do any more to the car as I been spending the weekend with my 2 yr old son and wife. Gotta get that family time in. However i have sit the valve cover on and I don't have a good feeling about the hood clearing the fittings. Looks like I may order one of the VIS G-Speed Carbon fiber hood with evo vents in front and the side vents as well. Anyone have any experience with this hood? I like all the vents as it should definitely keep the engine bay cooler, but would like some reviews of the hood. Here is a link to what i'm talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-9...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Eagle Crank, Eagle Rods, JE Pistons, Kiggly Stud Girdle. I'm looking at 600 awhp, nothing outrageous, it should be very attainable with what i have I believe.

Did you drop in the motor with the transmission attached??
I couldn't drop it in with that oil pan and installed the transmission separately.

Yeah i installed the motor and trans attached. It was a bit of work getting that pan to not hit the framerail while doing it, but I got it in that way.

The tubular header is a Punishment racing premium header that I had ceramic coated by Tirado and then i wrapped it with DEI Titanium heat wrap. The turbo is a 7 blade hx40 with a BEP T3 housing. As far as boost settings can't give you much there as I don't have the car running yet, I don't know exactly what it will take to get there but I will definitely keep everyone informed. I will also be running E85 to achieve the 600awhp mark.

Got some more pics for you guys. The last of my required parts came in. All that I have left to do is pluming from the intercooler to the throttle body. Anyways on with the pics of the new parts. First 3 are of my freshly powder coated valve cover in wrinkle black. Next two are of my new fuel rail and the last ones are of my oil filter relocation.

just picked up a 2.4 from an expo myself. i have alot of parts amassed, but im still working out turbo size. if you have done them, do you have the plotted compressor map for your setup? im torn between two mint turbos i have: an evo 8 10.5t and a GM8 with similar flow to an hx35. im not looking for 600 hp, more in the 400-450 range.

any info you could provide would be great! i can give you my full build plan too, if it would help with a recommendation.

thanks!

I will try to snap some more pics got too busy with work and life to finish yet. I know it's pitiful to be this close and a year later not done. I'm super close now hope to get downpipe made and a hole in brake line fixed and i'm ready to break in the bad boy. Stay tuned for more pics. Got that gspeed hood i was talking about along with some cf fenders, which may not stay on. Also picked up a badboy ets 5" thick intercooler with 3" piping. Hopefully have some pics very soon.

Still no new pics, but got tax money. Working on getting my TMZ trans rebuild, i suggest anyone needing trans work to call Tim, he's been great to work with. Ordered the last of what i needed, so this thing should be running very soon.

Finally got the exhaust fully finished, found a hole in my brake line going to the rear that i had to fix. Should have some more pics added a 5" thick ets intercooler to the mix as well. Hopefully I will some run logs very soon.

Just started it for first time 10 minutes ago. I'm so excited can't stand still I worked a 12 last night got off this morn at 7 and have been going all day on it. I'm done for now as I'm exhausted, will start back tomorrow.
