The car runs, and pretty strong from what i can tell but my southbend clutch is not holding up so i will be using a act 2600 till i can get some resolve on this southbend thats supposed to hold 500 hp.
I know my posts have been all over the place and not real clear. The mods that i have started with have changed so much to because of what i was able to get ahold of and at what price.
-I am now running a ERL manifold because i picked it up for one hell of a deal at 400 dollars.
-The bottom end is a complete 9.1 wiseco with eagle rod combo.
-Im running the holset h1c which i will post pictures of in the near future. 8blade nothing special.
-The head has been decked down to seal on the gasket. I was having issues with it sealing up before. My compression tests were coming back around 185 except for cyclinder 2. After having the head cut and reseating the valves on cyclinder 2 I have perfect compression.
-I also managed to pick up a sheet metal intake for 200 dollars and i couldnt pass it up. Its a home made job but it will do the trick.
-Still running the Delta 272 cams with BC springs and retainers.
The only thing holding me back now is that Southbend clutch. I had my ACT flywheel stepped to .610 like they should be and it still slips so i have a act2600 on the way.
I will update with more pics and hopefully a tracktime or 2.
