I have a a 98 talon and ive always wanted to own a talon with an avenger front end. i already know the process, but some say they dont like the look because the front end is too long...

Anyway i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of and avenger front on a talon?(besides that one picture of the blue eclipse with the avenger front)

Like ass?!? It looks hella dope!! What a savage concept.. I would totally do that.. It so different.. Talk about a head turner!! And you could do it to an AWD DSM? No one would expect a 330 hp gsx lurked under the skin of that chassis..

Thats different!!! I think that the 2g's look nice as they are. But i understand being different has its rewards!! I would just get coil-overs, nice set of rims and call it a day! have you done more research on it EAGLE192?

thanks for the pics..It looks like that guy is the only one that did that conversion, maybe ill be the first to do it on a talon, i like how it looks, im just not feeling the fender flares...if it didnt have the fender flares, and if it was white, black, or gray...i think it would look great


its really easy to do actually, all you need is the hood, headlights, fenders, front bumper, and the top radiator support from an avenger, then you just cut your top radiator support off, and remove fenders..etc. and tac weld the avengers radiator support on, then bolt everything up (headlights, fenders, etc.) and your done.

There is no doubt that it's cool to do something different but you have to do something that look's equal to or better than what you started with. That's like cheating on a hot girlfriend with an ugly chick.

Dear GOD why would you do this to a 2gb DSM? I could understand changing the front of the Dodge to a DSM but the other way?

But then not everyone likes my temporary 1ga/b hybrid front.

I still think that is ugly as sin though and a crime against DSMs.

So was putting wheelie bars on a honda hatchback back in the day.. Then it hit mid 9's all motor in a 1.6 sohc vtec engine.. Doing that was mocked in the community, until he dropped .7 seconds off his 1/4 mile.. Now alot of the big boys do it on their FWD cars.. Its about progression.. Its no worse than putting a body kit on a DSM (which I wouldnt do).. Lets say you didnt know it was a DSM.. If that car was driving down the street, AWD, turbo, 350hp, looking exactly like that.. Wouldnt it be dope?
