well actually you have to switch the rad supports and the rad support does come out 2.5 inches from the eclipse/talon rad support, the avengers rad support mounting points are a little different as well....
 
My opinion: Sleeper is the way to go. Keep it looking stock.

No it wouldnt. The conversion I doubt has anything to do with extending the rad support. Its just fenders,bumper, hood and headlights. It should still have exactly the same room.

no, actually the front end of the avenger is longer. thats why when all the avenger owners swap on eclipse fronts on their cars they have to cut it back some. you have to swap the core support as well. trust me, i've owned a few 2g talons and i have an avenger as well. i know what i'm talking about
 
heres a pretty detailed picture gallery of doing this swap over to an avenger. notice how they have to move the front end back and lose engine bay space? thats the room that would be gained in an eclipse/talon bay from putting the avenger front on. its 2-2.5"
