127k on the motor........with some mods, including Stage 1 Clutchmasters clutch, turbo timer, aftermarket boost and air guage, second gen exhaust manifold, and all the free mods that I'm aware of.

Once I replace all the musts; water pump, timing belt, gaskets, general tune up......it will be time for the boost controller!! 300 horses here I come!!!!

You're lucky broseph, I am saving up to get that, but buying other things for my dirtbike keep slowing me down LOL.

did you buy that car local, i think i saw that car on craigslist, did it have blown headgaskets?

Local to me here in Va Beach.

Bought it off of a friend. I'm loving every minute I spend in that car more and more. I'm just waiting for my first good run in against someone.........

Looks FAMILIAR - add to that MUST List an Air to Oil Cooler ASAP - I just bought a 3rd one, a 91 AWD TSI with Engine locked up from Water to Oil Cooler failure for $600.

Had my first run in with a (must have been) stock Mustang GT. Was behind him and waiting for him to get on it. He finally did and I just stayed in 3rd right behind him. Didn't even have to floor it. I could have passed but there was traffic. Now that was fun.......... :D He gave me the :thumb:

Sounds and looks like a very nice car. I hope to find something similar to that myself. taking forever though.

Heh. Picked up a '90 GS-T down in SoCal for $900 with a screwed clutch and frozen turbo.. dropped in a new plate and pad, and changed out the master/slave cylinders for 600 all said and done. Going to run 300 to rebuild the turbo, and the price of seals to fix a few oil leaks at the same time. Likely selling it off to a friend for around twice what I paid, as the red and black turns cop heads damn quick, and he likes the feel of the power steering.

Then I found a '90 GSX in near-perfect condition and had to have it, laid down 3400.. engine still warrantied, replaced less than 6000 miles ago with a six-bolt. :) Now all I have to do is get some new rims and tires (rims pothole-dented, tires bald, running 10psi low all around to compensate for traction loss and to reduce risk of blowing out at the lip dent). That and yell at the people who swapped in the engine, as it developed one or two leaks, one of which they fixed in fifteen minutes (said it was an o-ring that went out on a pipe just below the cam gear cover).
Scared the crap out of a few '05 GTs, and an overachieving Civic covered with go-faster stickers and a ridiculous fart-can muffler. Great feeling, coming up from an '89 Mirage hatch. :)
