I would like to take this moment as an opportunity to thank fluffy the 20lb northern texas farm cat for running infront of my dsm @ 60mph and obliterating my fiberglass front and rear bumper. Now I can get stock bumpers again! Wooohooo! Well all dogs go to heavan, and cats just go to the side of a road! Anyyyyhow, I'm going to do the 2G conversion on my talon, does neone have decent pics of the 2gA/B bumpers for the eclipse ? I'd like to compare the front n rears to decide which gen bumpers to go with but I can't find shit on my blackberry. Thanks!

Hahaha I don't mind, I thought it was cool when I was 17 and this was my first car, I'm putting on eclipse fenders and tail lights and spoiler removal. Pretty stoked, at first I was kicking the cats body in rage as he interupted my drive from michigan to texas, but now I'm stoked! Upgrade time!!!

Possibly. 2ga talons look nice, but 2gb talons are sex. To OP, I'm glad your making the switch back!

I do like the 2gB talon front and rear. They r pretty sekzy, but its a pain in the ass to find the talon bumpers, its easier for me to do the eclipse conversion. I found a body shop that has the eclipse 2gB fenders in their shop, so I got my bumpers locked in, now I just need to find the tail lights and center piece.

Here's the new issue I'm having, all the body shops are saying that they don't know if they can match the paint. (My paint is house of color blue ice pearl.) A couple people have told me that insurance comps will pay for the whole car if shops can't match the color, others have said ## screwed if they can't. Anyone have experience with this?

Well, after a lot of thinking, I took my spoiler off and I think the 2gb talon bumpers would look best, so now the quest to find them begins. Crazy how easy to find eclipse covers, but talons are soo hard for sum reason. In michigan there's talons everywhere, so far in texas all I've seen are eclipses n only 1 talon

JNZ Tuning has factory 2gb talon front bumpers but there $$. BTW theres no difference between talon/eclipse fenders.

Yeah I know the fenders are the same , I'm not touching those, I am trying to find talon bumpers slowgst, when I lived in michigan I was tired of always seeing talons but down here I hardly see any 2g dsms with talon on the rear, which persuaded me to look for the talon bumpers, ill check out jnz tuning. Thx for the tip ill post some pics when she's done

Ok - thanks for the help all, I ended. Going with the 2gb Eclipse front and the 2ga eclipse rear. And as a side note, yes there is a difference between 2gb and 2ga headlights (2ga being larger) I had asked about this on another forum and sumone had told me no diff. Its all good, I'm still waiting for my bumpers, BUT I did get my 97+ headlights I had decided to order, so lucky break . Anyhow, ill post endgame pics soon!
