Photo Venues in/around DC?

Hey folks,

Modified Magazine has set me up for a photo shoot. I live in Herndon and the photographer has asked me for suggested venues for the shoot. Might anyone have any suggestions? If you can think of anything, please let me know

The photographer lives in Richmond so he doesn't know the area up here very well.

What are you looking for in general? I drive in and around DC everyday somewhat and can give you some suggestions.
some I thought of quick:
pilot/ sturdess parking lot at Reagan national or Gravelly point park which is next to it and has the flight path/ Potamac river in the back ground
Arlington memorial bridge with the two large gold Arlington bridge equestian statues and back side of lincoln memorial in the background. Theres a public parking lot right there.

I actually don't know what I'm looking for so I'm open to all suggestions!

Based on what you suggested I think something not on a public road would be best, since we'd have to deal with traffic and I don't have the power to close public roads

I'll have to look at the suggestions around Reagan.

Any urban venues that come to mind?
