since I pretty much am positive I'm going to have to put a clutch in the spyder gs-t I'm buying, which should I go with for now? It's a bone stock car, I plan on turning it into a nice street machine later. There will be an AWD swap in it's future, and i'm aiming for around 350-400whp.

My only concern with a performance clutch is the added petal pressure. Since this will see the city streets, more then a drag strip. Price wise I can get a new OEM for about $89, but I'm willing to spend around $400; if it meets my torque spec goals and doesn't add way to much petal pressure for the street.

So buy performance now, or just grab OEM for now and wait until I'm making more power; before I worry about a better clutch?

Here is my two cents. I would avoid the ACT puck clutches. I recently upgraded to a 6 puck after overheating a organic oem exedy clutch. I pulled the trans after about 9 hours of tracking the car and the clutch was nearly half way though its life already. I might be the extreme example of this situation but i found it alarming. Now you can get the clutch re-pucked for cheap by ACT but not everyone pulls their trans after every race.
