Hey guys -
As the thread topic says, I'm looking for a perfect, cheap turbo for my new 2.3l engine. I'm broke, so this isn't happening anytime soon, but I'd like to keep dreaming. Here's what I'm looking for:
* Spoolup in the 3500 rpm range
* Cheap (up to maybe 1200 at the insane max)
* Bolt on, if possible
* Internal wastegate, if possible
* Max power I can possibly make given these constraints.
Here are my (relevant) mods:
DsmLink
660cc (I know, I know. I'll get to these when I can)
rods/pistons, etc.
ACT 2600
Wideband
Greddy Type S bov
COMP Cams (unknown aggressiveness. Probably pretty aggressive).
FMIC
I think that's all you need to know. Tell me what you think! (it's a 99 GSX, btw).
I was looking at Holsets before my old 6 bolt decided to #### me in the ass, and seize up on me.
