People running 1g block and 2g head

I need some help, if i am correct all i need to do is take out my old block, trim one of the mounts so it fits in and wire in a 1g CAS and i'm set??

I swap in my pumps( A/C, power steering. alternator etc) And i am set to go??

Basically what troubles did you run into, what did you have to change, what else is needed other than a complete block and CAS??

Please, please help me!

You have to drill the head stud holes out to fit the 6 bolt head studs if it's a 2g 7 bolt. You need to use a 1g tensioner pulley assembly on the 2g mount and a 1g water pump. You can no longer use a tensioner tool.
