So after reading and searching for a good hour, I have a couple questions about removing my pcv valve. I currently have a closed greddy catch can. The catch can has two line, one that is connected to the side port on the valve cover and the other is just venting to the atmosphere. I now want to remove the pcv valve because I need to rid myself of excessive crankcase pressure. MY question is: I know many people simply replace the pcv with a barb and run it to the catch can and vent. However, I don't think I want to deal with the augmented fuel trims and the vaccuum leak that creats. My question is, would I be able to replace the pcv with a barb. Then run the both the side port and the new barb to the catch can. Then drill out on the catch can and add another line to run it to the intake pipe? If I do this system, will my system alleviate crankcase pressure, while not having a vaccuum leak?
Basically:
Side port + Barb (formerly pcv) -> Greddy Catch can---> line to intake pipe
