I bought an RRE black catch can with breather on top.I have hooked it up a couple of ways.First way is to leave the stock pcv set up and then run a line off the valve cover to the catch can and block the second unused catch can outlet.
This still makes smoke after running the turbo hard and it looks and smells pretty bad.I have the catch can mounted near the fuse box.
Then tried using straight thru fitting for the pcv and running it to catch can and then back to valve cover. This puts out even more smoke/vapour.
Questions..can I block off the filter on top of the catch can and will this hurt anything if the engine has no breather. The engine has no breather stock or does it breath thru the intake tube.?
I don't want to feed it thru the intake again and didn't even get the intake set up for that breather hose.
Also am I getting vapor and smoke cause my rings are gone.I think my engine is fine but this makes me wonder.
What do you guys do.Live with the oil smell and vapor or live with your intercooler and turbo getting all gunked up with this stuff?
