Anyone know where a good place to buy the stock (or decent) set of struts for front/back? Mine are all shot from previous owner and am sick and tired of being rattled around.. I poked around on the search engine and I mostly found stuff about how to upgrade/what to get, my springs are ok though, just struts and bushings need replacing..

My local parts shop wants to charge $113/strut :barf: + tax + 'install kit' (the plate at the top).

Anybody have experience with any shops in the sacramento/chico area that will treat customers with some sense of dignity? Tired of them trying to screw :aha:me and telling me it's cheaper than anywhere else.. :notgood:

As usual, thanks ahead of time!

-Edit-
I found these on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Shoc...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

But I don't know if they're trustworthy or worth spending on ? Any one give their $0.02? Thanks!

It looks like a great seller, hes got a great rating.. The product itself however will be.. well.. An ebay product LOL.. Dont expect anything as good as a name brand

Go to the shocks & struts section on eBay, fill in your car's info on the left, then search for "Gabriel". Right now there are two listings, one for a front set, and one for the rears. Gabriel makes quality stuff. And you're getting them cheaper per unit than you'd get the one you listed.

Forget Gabriel and go KYB's better quality and life time warranty I worked for a large parts distributor in the North East a one in every four Gabriel we sold came back defective within a year. Monroe may be another option.

Well my budget is the least amount possible, have other things on the car that need work.... like a fuel pump that can keep up w/ the 18g.....

as for just coils nope, the previous owner put some ok coilovers on it, lowered it a bit, the problem is that my struts are completely shot, front left one might be bent from previous owner's stupidity. The car rattles like hell when it goes over rough road (unmaintained small town asphalt). My brother's dsm rides perfectly over it, mine it feels like im in a paint mixer....

I wouldn't mind around $200 for my budget, I might still replace the coils later on, but for now I just dropped 125 on an fmic and still need a pump, evo8 ecu, and evoscan+cable so my money's gone before I even get it.

Definitely eyeing those gr2's, but tokikos if I could work it out would be pretty sweet!
