Painting Rims

Hey I wanna paint my stock 1g rims black just because they look so horrible now. What kinda steps should i take to paint them....(Clean, sand, primer????)....And should i just use spraypaint....Last but not least, (hardener or clearcoat??) Thanks for the help.....

all i did was just use a spraycan of gloss black from autozone and painted over my rims. thats probably not the best way to do it, but it worked for me, even though i have to keep respraying them every few months. but im happy with the looks of it though. maybe some people know of a better method of doing it and theyll probably post it, but thats how i did mine.

Everything you need to know about painting is in there. With rims, only thing I recommend that isn't in there and sandblast them. You'll see a huge difference in the finish.
