I want to paint my car black...I got about 600 to spend. I want a nice looking job, not the 200$ tv commercial one, anyone have recommendations. Whats the difference if I save up anohter 400 and get the 1000$ job? Are all blacks the same so if I kit it later do I have to redo the whole car?

if your having someone repaint your car, you get what you pay for. cause it costs around 400-500 just for the paint the rest of the money that you pay for a repaint goes to labor, it takes time to sand down a car and prep it properly for paint, if you give some guy 400 bucks what do you think your gonna get... shitty paint with a bad prep job, which basically means a overall poor paint job, the cheapest you can go but i do not recommend driving it in the winter if your going to like a maaco would be 700 bucks, otherwise your gonna need to dish out atleast 1000+

and if you want the engine bay repainted prepare to pay even more
Painting a car isnt that hard its just very time consuming and it has to be done the right way

As long as you remember the paint code for the color you wont need to repaint the whole car if you were to get a body kit, cause the paint code will tell the paintshop or person painting the kit how much % of what color paint to add so he gets the same exact color thats on your car right now

There are quite a few different blacks to choose from. The difference between a 600 and 1000 paint job is the quality. You get what you pay for. The shop getting 1000 is gonna do some better prep work, you won't see as much overspray, things like that.
