So as I was driving, my check engine light came on. I was near an auto zone so I figured I would pull in for a free diagnostic. It came back with the P1750 code which I know to be the transmission solenoid assembly. The only thing is the car hasn't been shifting strangely or acting abnormal, so I'm very confused. Can anyone shed some light?

Was your problem simply the transmission fluid? I will go out and check that as soon as I don't have to wade through 2 feet of snow haha.

Thank you for the link, I will check it out!

Perfect, I will check that. I will post back and tell you if it helps. Did it even cause the check engine light with the same code? Thanks again!

Sure did. A engine light came on and it gave me the same problem you have. And other times it was fine i didnt know what it was. So one day i was at a local O'riellys and had them scan it. Gave me P1750 code. So i was going to sell the car but i didnt want to before i tried fixing it.

So i drove the 20 miles or so home and it was ok that day. When i got home i checked the transmission fluid and it was low about a quart or two. The fluid wasn't black or didn't smell burned. Look to see if the fluid is burned.

If it is burned it wont be the red color ATF fluid should be. I would be a black color maybe ever a brown. post a pic of the color on a napkin. And if you will know if its burned it smells bad.
