OTC 4000E cartridge for 1G?

Anyone know if there is/was a cartridge that would allow monitoring of engine sensors? Called OTC they said this unit was obsolite and couldn't help me.

Datalogger is your best friend.

www.pocketlogger.com for everything but the palm pilot (the most recommended one is either a m-series palm or palm III)

or search up mmcd, which is a freeware logger program. You'll still need a palm pilot and cable.

OTC won't work for 1G's because the ecu is not OBD2 compliant.

Go to Ebay and find an import cartridge. I have a 96 import cartridge on my genisys.

That's the easy part. Finding the adapter cable will be a much greater challenge. Probably an ebay thing too.

I'll give ebay a try for the import cartridge. I have the adapter cable...OTC still sells them but they couldn't help with the cartridge. Hoping I can get as much info with the proper cartridge as I get using the Domestic Pathfinder cartridges on my turbo Dodges. Thanks for the help.
