I had to post this were someone would appreciate it...
Well I sold my 1997 GSX about four years ago to buy a 2005 Evo MR. I loved the GSX and I hated to see it go ( Nothing as shitty as watching it drive away for the last time) but I wanted to move to a different car and I had to choose...so unfortunately, the DSM lost.
I bought the Evo thinking I would not want to mod it....that lasted for about a month. The car is fun and as it sits it is putting out 340 awhp and it is a blast to drive....but I have always wanted to get a DSM again.
I looked for the last 2 years and I finally found the DSM I have always wanted...a Durango Copper 1995 GSX!!! I actually won it on Ebay!! I probably paid too much for the car, but it was exactly what I wanted.
It is a project car for sure....the body is in good shape...the interior is disgusting ( smoker owned
)
the motor is a good runner but it has a ton of miles ( around 200,000) and I am pretty sure the trans is done ( went to drain the fluid....nothing came out
)
So I am getting parts together to get it running and I will be off from there. I am looking to do a mild turbo upgrade and some decent suspenion upgrades. First things first though. It will be a long term project....I still have my Evo for now...
I'll keep the interested posted on my progress.
