orbital buffers.. yes or no?

hey guys,
did a search and found sh*t .. so, does anyone use an orbital buffer? i'm looking to invest in one since there are so many light scratches in my paint [ i mean ALL over ]. i was just wondering if it's hard to do, if you people recommend it [ first time usage ] or what..

Just get a good one, like the pros use. I got myself a Porter Cable one with the velcro pad and sponge pads. You don't want to use terry cloth ones, those are likely to burn your paint.

You'll want to get at least two pads... one for polishing (3M Emperial Hand Glaze or the machine polish version) and one for waxing. You'll still need to hand buff the wax out with diaper cloth or clean soft terry cloth towel to finish since the sponge doesn't buff it out as well as you can by hand.

The 3M Emperial Hand Glaze is highly recommended. It's a mild polish and will make your paint look like new.
