Opinions about FIC's afpr kit?

That looks very similar to the Import Evolution kit. The fittings are prettier then the ones in the IE kit, but function exactly the same. Doesn't look too bad, and would end up being almost the same price as the IE one after purchasing a FP gauge with the IE one.

I have that kit from FIC. It came fast, they called me to double check if it was for a 1g and it hooked up nicely. The only thing you dont get with it is an adapter for the return, but $1.25 at menards cured that problem. Very happy with it

DevilSperm, where did you put the fuel pressure gauge? I did some research last night and found that regulator doesn't have a port for a pressure gauge. I am now considering just going with the a1000 bypass regulator, only a little more $$$.

It does come with a gauge and a port to put in on. Heres a really crappy pic for you

That is the same actual FPR unit that IE uses by the looks of it. All the ports were 1/2", but they included a 1/8" reducer fitting so you could put the guage in any of the 4 ports you wanted, just had to insert the fitting into whatever one you wanted to use. I'm guessing they did the same thing with this kit? That FIC kit looks just fine though, I'd go for it.

Ordered the fic afpr kit yesterday:thumb: Now I need to get an eprom burnt for the 650's I also ordered from fic and a maft.

You may need to get a reducer of some sort for the return line. I got mine at menards, cost me $2.00

That is incorrect, I origionally had that regulator & an install kit that was basically the same as that. The reg does come with an 1/8" npt port, its on the opposite side to the inlet. I switched to the 13109 reg because in a 2g space is very limited and with that gauge configuration I couldn't get it to fit properly where I wanted it.

The fitting I used for the return was made by aeromotive, 7 mm barb with -6AN oring thread. Got it from summit & its a perfect fit for the rubber return hose & screwed directly into my regulator without any other fittings but it was also a little pricy, $18 from summit. Its the one on the left side of the pic, second one up above the silver fitting.

I bought my kit from FIC 2 years ago on my 95awd, and like stated above, no return fitting, i rigged someting up from a local hardware store. used tortch fittings i think, LOL.

This time i orderd a kit from ImportEv. I was ordering the bolton kit you see on the homepage of tuners, and they were out of stock, Upgraded me to the aeromotive for 30$ extra
