but the question is would you take your own advice? invest $950 into a kit that has had many reliablity issues?

Stay away from that crap!! :nono: I've seen a thread of that kit somewhere in the forum. There are pictures with the cracked manifold, cracked o2 housing and broken turbo.

i dunno about reliability issues since i have no informational/historical background on the product but i agree with your statement otherwise.

Boosted, advice given by people like jott need to be taken with a grain of salt because they may or may not have concern for your $1000. Just remember that if that thing truly is crap, he didn't lose anything but you did.

Bottom line is that the product is a hell of a deal on the condition that it is quality. Until there is proven evidence of it, I personally would prefer not to be the guinnea pig. GG THX no RE. :notgood:

1st if you would have searched a bit (i know to difficult for most people here) You would have found that is garbage and a waste of money.

 I kinda smell something fishy with that kit too, I mean a HRC Super 20g for example alone with all necessary hardware/install kit is almost $1300, JUST FOR THE TURBO. Thats an entire kit with manifold, turbo, gaskets, hardware, and what not for $900  . If you REALLY want to look into this kit, i'd search for the write-up like the last person above just said OMG People arent out to help you by selling you a cheap turbo kit, they're out to make (take) your money.

alright i'm going to help out here, i picked up 1 of those xs turbo's they are straight JUNK. I ended up trading it to a friend for a different turbo he thought he was gettin a deal i guess? but anyway he took it to the local turbo shop and they took it appart.. well lets say more or less fell apart it was terrible i actually felt bad for trading him OMG :(

you are right on, their stuff is junk.. But on the other hand regarding HRC, there stuff is way, way overpriced.

Avoid XS power and SSautochrome like the plague, there is a reason their shit is so darn cheap. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.....

:( Whoa there!! OMG HRC is GOOD stuff tho, seeing how I will be getting a Super 20g

:talon: Had a friend who bought that junk. Did not look nearly as nice as the picture, and wouldn't fit worth a shit. He couldn't get a refund or a reply from the seller. He ended up selling it and losing about $400. on the deal.

I wouldn't trust this company. However, I do have a question. How is this supposed to fit both our dsm engines, and the reversed engines of the Evo at the same time? Just curious...

Just look at the piping kit for the IC, doesn't look like theres enough to me to even hook it up. Though does anyone have one personaly (the kit) to knock it?
IMO i wouldn't buy stuff on ebay for my car.

didn't we all come to find out that the XSpower turbos were glued together? haha i think i saw a pic of one that fell apart!

not to mention the horrific sight of someones turbo breaking off of the exhuast manifold and falling down while driving hahahahahahaahahahahahaha ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL

The exhaust turbine side of that turbo looks like it was made for a diesel. Much too big to work efficiently for a dsm. Also those pipes in that picture arent even beaded. The steel braided line looks like it might work though!

Manifold doesn't clear rad/fans, wastegate hits the power steering pump.

Buyer Beware.
