Thanks for the responses I am going to go with that kit. When I set the base psi I set it with no vacuum attached to it correct. I just want to make sure the install is done right. The car acts up enough on it's own without me doing something to piss it off. Thanks again:dsm:

Correct.

I've got the same kit and it works quite nicely... though you may want to shell out an extra $25 and get a fuel rail adapter from RRE instead. The one I got is a little bit dodgy, and almost doesn't fit with the bolt-down, but hasn't leaked yet, so I suppose it's fine.

I have that afpr; I love it

You may want to pick up a 180 degree AN fitting along with your kit, depending on your choice of mounting locations. I've noticed that the fuel in and out can be a little tough to work with on this particular regulator. Take into account the in/out are located on opposing sides of the unit. With the 180 AN, you'll be able to run the in hose, and out hose in the same directions; cutting down on clutter.

I also run a auto meter fuel gauge mounted at the allen plug - it can be hard to read from some positions; you may need an angle fitting for this as well to make things easy. (I notice there may be a fitting for this purpose in that kit; not sure)

good luck - if you want my suggestion on mounting; PM.

I've had it mentioned by every mechanic who's worked on my car that I should remove the gauge I have on, and replace it with a quick-connect fitting, only attaching the gauge when needed to actually check pressure... horror stories about gauges leaking or breaking and spraying fuel underhood, resulting in car fires.

Thanks for all of the imput it is very helpful. I have a couple more questions though. I found a brand new kit local it came with the aeromotive fpr ss line chm liqiud gauge and all fittings which happened to be anodized black which look sick. First I can not get the ss line to feed into the fitting it has some black tape around the ends should I remove that? Second with the fpr is it still possible to pass emissions? In Arizona I still have to run it on the rollers even with it being an 1995 obd2? I am only concerned because this is still a daily driver. Thanks again.:dsm:

I need some help asap. I am installing the afpr and I can not get fittings and the ss line to go together. If anyone has any ideas please help. Thank you

Thank you for that thread it was abig help. Those fittings just did not want to go on. I got it done on saturday no leaks no problems what so ever. I will post some pics later today. Thanks again for all the help.:dsm:
