1G Opened tranny filler plug + oil started coming out?

Is it normal for some tranny fluid to come out filler hole when checking it? Tonight I removed plug to check fluid level and some oil started coming out so I didn't wait around to see if it would stop or not and just put plug back in real fast. Car was on level and checked it about 30-40 min after driving it

When you fill the trans that is how you tell it is full. When alil fluid starts to come out it is full.. i would say it is full or real close to since it prolly was still just alil warm

Ok that's what I thought because fluid was warm. This is the first manual trans I've owned and other then having clutch replaced over 5 yrs ago I never really checked or did anything to it.

Maybe time for fluid change since it's been 50k mi. I forget whether I used synthetic and exactly what's recommended. Car is stock with free mods and gets driven right

On a stock trans I really like bg synchroshift 2. 3 quarts.

I wouldn't use anything other than redline or in your case MItsubishi diaqueen

My Jacks Stage 2 trans has Mitsu Diaqueen fluid and shifts smooth as butter. I like both fluids but Jacks recommended Mitsu fluid for their build.
