open dp

i have an open dp on my car. i just finished a 6 bolt swap and started it. looked under it and seen flames shooting out when i goto on the gas fast. gas it slow and its fine. its timed to factory. but the computer was just pluged in. could it be normal, or because i just hooked up the ecu, or somethings wrong.

A mod list would help. It's most likely just extra fuel igniting, I have the same problem and my GD bumper is burnt because of it

its a 95 awd. free mods, stock 6 bolt, act 2600, ported 14 b turbo and exaust o2, upper and lower pipes, hks bov, open 2 1/2 inch dp. other then that its stock. and i just remembered that the injector pins might be in the wrong spot. i dont have a boost gauge yet but i can hear the turbo spooling because of it.

that sucks about your bumper. but that pic looks cool.
