open downpipe?

I bought an used exhaust from boostin 1g and he has never sent it!!! Does anybody know him? I know his name is Nate. And since he hasnt sent my exhaust and its been close to 5 months now, I am thinking about unbolting the exhaust after the downpipe. I live in Kansas, and from what I know so far, they are not strict on that stuff. I have never had emissions or inspections done on my car. I have read a little about this, but I was wondering if anyone had any sound clips of what it sounds like and what the power gains are and where in the band are they? Does this create boost creap?

When I did my motor swap, I drove around for a while on just the 2 1/2" o2 housing with dump, tube. When I put the exhaust on, I enjoyed the car about 10,000 times better I dont recommend going open downpipe unless you live out in the country (Stixville) or at the track or somewhere it wont get you into trouble. It REALLY gets annoying and the neighbors wont like u much, especially if you have cams

I just had my 02 housing and dp off to be wrapped. I started up the car w/ both off and damn it was loud. W/ stock cams and my huge turbo it sounded liek a untuned v8, open dp was a little quiter though. Im going to put an electric cutout after the dp so i can just flip a switch when im at the track instead of having to unbolt it.

I live 10 minutes outside of DC in one of the worst cop areas ever. Whats funny is I got harassed for my exhaust, but for the 1.5 months (and going) that ive had myself running open 02, cops dont even glance at me. I think they think its just diesel trucks cming by. Oh and its not that loud unless your at full throttle, in which you will scare the shit out of everyone even yourself.
