I recently bought a 1999
Eclipse GS-T w/ 76,000 miles on it. I have been driving it for the last week w/out any problems. I go outside to leave for work one morning and my car sounds like it is trying to start but will not. I then gave it some gas and it starts fine. This only happens when the car has been sitting for an extended period of time (5-10 hours).
What should my RPM's idle at? Should they fluctuate when the fan turns on?
I have tried to adjust the BISS. Haven't had enough time to see if that has worked...
Could the air filter be the problem? It looks very dirty!
Has anyone experianced this? Do you have a fix?
