1G Only have 3rd and 4th gear

I have a 90 tsi awd, but like the title says i only have 3rd and 4th gear, no 1st,2nd,5th, or reverse,I try to shift it to those gears and all i can get is 3rd and 4th,its like the other gears have just got up and walked off, i havent had it out for almost 2 weeks, When i did drive it my clutch was very loose feeling, is it possible my clutch is just gone?

Check shift cables to make sure they are bolted down in engine bay and shifter and that they move properly.

+1. Make sure the secondary linkage is still connected

make sure you check the u or c clips under the shifter base you have to remove the center console for this

Cool guys thanks, I took a look at it and it appeared to be on, so I took a second look at it bumped it alittle bit and it just fell off.
