one quick question.

So i got a 1g and i got a 2g mas just sittng there. could i get 550's and just slap them and the 2g mas on and it will be fine?

Some where, some how, people got to looking at the air flow differences between the 1G & 2G MAF. On paper it looks like switching to 550's and the 2G MAF cancel each other out. They don't. Then they turn up the boost and we get the "Why did my engine blow" posts.

Buy a MAFT for a 2g mas and you would be good to go. You can find them from like 90 used to 200 new between here and other sites that deal with DSM parts.

Save up and buy DSM lInk... dont waste your money on mafTranslators because you will switch to link soon after...also even with a Maf T you still need a way to moniter your air/fuel and log your car.

Just get Dsmlink like said above. It makes things much easier to manage and you can see exactly whats going on with a live log. I realize it's more expensive, but its well worth it.
