George Bruggenthies, running a 3000GT in One Lap, broke what appears to be an input shaft to the trannie, and the car is stuck at Virginia International Raceway. George has since moved on, and is continuing in One Lap in another car. Geoge needs a ittle help from a 3000GT wizard in the area.

1. Do you know anyone in the area that can fix it? Like who do you trust?
2. Any ideas on what might be wrong besides the input shaft? George said it just lost power to the wheels. Engine runs fine, tranny shifts fine, just no power.
3. Any ideas on how to get the car from VIR to Road America? George says he can go back for it with a truck and trailer, but it open to other ideas.

Please call George directly on his cell phone at 921/540-5031.

Is it actually moving? or is it just sitting there revving. Sorry I dont know anyone down there to help. Good luck to George on getting his car running. Dont know too much about 6g72s tho.

Could be a clutch disc. I snapped the center out of an old 5 puck clutch one time. Clutch felt fine, tranny shifted fine, but no go power as the splined section of the clutch had separated completely from the actual friction material area.
