Ok heres my progress as of now (9 months or so ive owned the car...maybe a lil less)

full 2.5" Cat-Back
Hollowed Cat
CF Hoof
75 shot Wet NX Mainline EFI nitrous kit w/10lb bottle
unorthodox UDP
NGP plugs/wires
all requisite gagues etc but no SAFC or management
CAI
2" drop on Sprint springs
front/rear strut bars
Stock rims (so what?) on some rather nice grippy tires.

Comming soon, to be put on beofre our next socal meet

ported/polished intake manifold and 60mmTB
Cams (proably ordering em next month, any suggestions?)
Tokiko illumina (spelling?) shocks

Ok, now past all this, what would be a good next leap besides turbo? I cant afford turbo right now, nor a motor rebuild/stroker so im keeping my shot at 75. I would LIKE to go turbo in the future though but its not going to be for like a year though. I want go, no more show....everything has been done by me so im not afraid of more complex projects.

With that in mind, where should look to next? I have no lofty HP goals, im just gonna mod the hell out of the car and then see what she does (and she's pretty fast now...)

Take advantage of your Nitrous and TB; P+P the heads. You did not mention header but I figure you have one. Depending on your cash, bigger valves, crower cams (the crowers I mention not from Mitsu experience. I am choosing those from reading posts in here and 2gnt). Which stage is always a personal thing. How much loss of low end and idle annoyance do you want? Whoops I just noticed that you say you want to go turbo. I have no interest in going turbo so I can't say how the cam choice will affect the turbo. But the head work will only help (though the header won't for turbo. So if you don't have one yet don't spend lots on it). And to make dr1665 happy, don't forget the MSnS  . I am soon to get it. These car do need help in tuning BECAUSE of the computer. You can use varies piggybacks or stand alones. I chose MSnS because of the apparent flexibility. I can't remember their web page right now but do a search on MSnS and you will get the site quickly. You also don't mention clutch. The stock cutch seems to be pretty good but I would go with an aftermarket. With the 75 shot you will put a bit of strain on it. But the only after market I have found is the SPEC and I hear good and bad about the spring set-up. Again what level is personal. Oh yeah, change motor mounts. To at least neoprene. You can get solid mounts but the stronger your mounts the more engine noise will be transfer into car. This is the direction that I am going in (with built engine and nitrous last).

if i were you, this is what i would do. get the howell top end kit with the 16's cams. pretty aggressive and great for NA but also very tunable for turbo. also look into some oversized stainless valves and titanium retainers. while your doing that get the head sent out and get a good valve job and a good port and polish. now, you will have a completely built head, with the abillity to rev pretty high. now, with the MSnS, you will have the ability to raise the rev limiter to take advantage of those nice cams and higher powerband. you will also have stainless valves, so whenever you do rebuild your bottom end, you can run one hell of a shot of nitrous, whether that be by itself or on top of a turbo. that, will be one bad ass 2gnt. my .02

if thats not where you want to go, maybe look at a spec or clutchmaster clutch with alluminum flywheel, get more poneys to the ground

The only thing holding me back from a rebuild (top or bottom) is that this is mu daily drives, and as so i cant have it out of commission for more that a weekend or so. Now, if i had another motor to use a head from, had it rebuilt, then was able to swap it in and out in a weekend then THAT would be the best option i believe.....if it can be done.

And yea, i do believe ill go with the howell cams because i want an agressive driver, im not worried about rough idle or any other mod byproducts...i just want as much power as possible at my disposal.

As for the clutch ive been likeing the Clutchmasters stage 2, seems about right for the max power a 2gnt could put out anyways....or maybe a stage 3 would be better?

A good header and downpipe would give you some nice added HP, and help for later when you want to get that turbo. Not sure what your pocket size is? Also I hope you're not just doin mods plug n' play... You're tuning after installing right?

THanks, it's good to be back....Guess your kick in the ass "Why haven't you been posting" talk last night did work
