Hey oldman...well my ECU went...its an e-prom 2...o well that sort of sucks...but i got good news...its getting rebuilt with a TMO stage 3 chip in it....Now onto my problem which may have been ECU related. Well ive got NGKBPR7ES plugs...I used to run 18psi on stock 450CC dsm injectors...i ran it like that for about 2 weeks(this was about 3 months ago)..ever since then I turned the boost down to about 13-15 cause its my daily driver and whatnot...Well for fuel i also gotta walbro 190, stock FPR...well i pulled my plugs today..and i expected to c them black (rich looking)...well i pulled them and i saw they was all white tipped...I dunno why man...I thought with a 190 and stock FPR and boost most likely around 14psi daily...it should be a rich looking color...I dont understand why it isnt? Do u think my Burnt ECU coulda messed with timing, spark advance, fuel curves to do this? Lemme know what you think... I thought that was kind of weird.

I'm not OLDMAN but for what it's worth. Plugs should be a tan shade of color. This indicates complete combustion. White/blistered is lean or too hot. Black and dry is too rich of a fuel mixture. Black and oily is....... well, let's say you have an oil consumption problem.

At 15 psi my 450cc injectors are running 90-92% duty cycle around 7000 RPM. Thats with a walbro 255LPH. Anyway 18 psi on a 14B will cause lean mixtures, I would either put octane additives or get some 550cc injectors.

In it's day the the TMO chip was the only thing out there, but beside removing fuel cut and adding the stutterbox there isn't any performance additions in the TMO code. Don't pay much if anything for an old TMO chip.

The 190 shouldn't overrun the stock FPR so although your fuel pump can handle running 14 psi and higher the stock 450's are likely running close to their limits and you may be leaning out under boost. Try logging your injector pulse width or injector duty cycle if you logger provides it and see if your going over 100% IDC.

.... had to chime in, all I could think of when I read the title was the neil young song:
