Ok i Need an answer tonight on this. please look! 2g ecu ?

ok if anyone knows if this will work or not please reply to it right away and let me know i need to know tonight.... i fried the eprom ecu in my 95 tsi awd the other day so ive been told and i just built the car and the motor came out of my 95 tsi FWD which is my parts car now... will this make any difference will the ecu from the Fwd tsi Work with the AWD car? i need to know asap because if not i am ordering a new ecu tonight and having it overnighted to me i need to be back on the road as soon as possible... i thank you all very much... and appreiate all the help guys....

havent been around dsm community too long but im almost certain it doesnt matter awd or fwd when it comes to the ecu....

It won't matter, other than if you're switching to the FWD ECU, you'll now be speed limited, not that you'd care about that, and are more interested in getting the car to run. Oh, though I'm sure you know, you'll have to switch your plug wires back.

My apologies. When you upgrade to a eprom ecu, you have to 'switch' the 1+2, and 3+4 spark plug wires. If you don't, it won't start.


***EDIT by myself-switching the wiring is what I'll have to do, not you. oops***
