ok another stupid boost question

ok people, today I fixed my boost controller becasue it was installed compleatly wrong when it came with the car, anyway I fixed it and it adjusts good now, problem is, is I lowered the boost and it will go to around 5.0 bar jump to 1 bar then around 5-6k rpm it drops down to around 5.0 I think it may be a leak, please help....thankyou

what kinda boost gauge do you have?

5 bar is around 72-73 psi !!

It could be something with the boost controller, double-triple-quadruple check all your hoses, make sure nothing is loose.

IF you have an MBC, do you have a little "vent" between the MBC and the wastegate? It's usually a small hole in the tube, or the end of the MBC. This allows the wastegate to function correctly.

Otherwise, if your boost is falling off to .5 by the end of the RPM range, your turbo might be dying. Check the play on it and such.

the turbo only has around 3000 miles on it, and I dont think thats the case, I think it may be the shitty MBC I have.
