Did a bunch of work recently and added coolers, the oil cooler is 15.000 BTU from trucool and its from JNZ tuning so its sold as a good cooler i assume as its basically a B&M cooler.

Now i hate innovate motorsports as i have never been able to get into their programmer software ever no matter what product it is! It just dont connect so i cannot see what the gauge is set at from the previous owner but basing it from stock innovate settings im looking at around 260f in oil temp! Seems a bit high to me,

I got the temp sensor in the evo 9 OFH in the 3/8 bsp port that angles down. Wondering if this could be a bad location if its hanging around or has no flow? In the mornings i dont see the led move for a while either when driving so im not sure if this is causing a weird reading or not, but when i researched a location this seemed like it was ok in this spot as it wants moving oil but now im not so sure!

I would think its a fluke but both thjs and my trans temps are high so im wondering if its the coolers themselfs are just crap at doing their jobs!

Where my finger is pointing to is where i saw the led go to and based from stock innovate readings thats right around 260f ish

Are you using the innovate temp sensor that came from innovate, or another brand. Asking because from what i read someone else owned the gauges. It could be possible if the sensor is not what innovate uses may not read correctly for the gauge.

innovate has its on special connectors so it can only be an innovate temp sensor, the ONLY other thing is it could also be a faulty temp sensor aswel causing it to read super high temps
