oil return line leak

ok i know this has been beaten to death... but i had a leak... so i replaced the gasket... looked at the bolts... one had a crush washer... one had a lock washer... no no... i know... but when i go to a hardware store and ask for crush washers they look at me like i have 3 heads... same with autoparts stores... where the hell can i get some? no one knows what i'm talkin about... and do u guys think puttin thread tape on the bolts will achive the same results?

go back to the autostore and ask for copper washers, or brakeline washers. I had the same problem. You can go into the hardware isle of the Autoparts store and looke for a small box of assorted copper brake washers. at the store I went to they where with the vacuum line fittings and other assorted odds and ends.

I just buy them from the dealer. You get the right part and no driving to like 5 different places or buying assorted washers and finding the right one and then have 15 other washers you'll never use.
