Ok i have the 16g install kit and the oil return line is leaking where it screws in to the connector to my oil pan should i wrap some thread tape on it or what it is as tight as i can get it, where can i get a different oil return line for cheap

you shouldnt have to use any kind of tape on it. just take it off. clean the threads on both mating sides, clean the gasket surfaces, use rtv, reinstall adapters, then thread your fittings back on. dont give up on the line yet. good luck

it is leaking where the one piece that the hose connects to then it screws into the adapter that is connected to the oil pan, it is leaking where the one piece screws into the other piece

Take it apart and inspect it. It shouldn't be leaking if it's in good condition.

what kit did you buy?

Okay this same thing happened to me. I put a 14b turbo into my 2g gsx instead of the stock t25. The owner before me had done this, and somehow stripped the allen screws that connect into the oil pan. He then tryed to use lock tight goo and tryed to stop the leaking that way, and doing so almost completely clogged off the hose.

I ended up rethreading the oil pan threads, and then it didnt leak at all. This is what you should try. Hope this helps!

this is almost the exact problem ive been dealing with, thats why im curious as to who you got your kit from.
We have some alcohol race motors with mechanical fuel injection at work and where there is a similar leak issue on those they just thread the fitting in and then around the seam you smear a little bead of jb weld to keep any oil from leaking out.
I personally think im just gonna remake the return line tommorow. I definitley wish i hadnt waisted a bunch of money on an install kit only to have to remake or rebuy most of the parts because they sucked.

you do have a different kit than i do but you should be able to fix it with jp weld none the less, there is no reason you can use some teflon sealant around the threads where the peice of oil line threads into the adaptors, if it still leaks you can use some jb weld where the line meets the adaptor, just dont try to smear it on the threads like a sealant. put it on after the piece is assembled.

if you have any questions PM me

Bro extreme PSI's oil return line will leak no matter what you do. Every single kit Ive bought from them, It has been a huge headache dealing with the return line. The multiple fittings is just a bunch of bullshit. One straight oil return line is what should have came with the kit so you dont have to worry about tightening one fitting and then other one leaking. On my GST, i even used JB Weld and the mofo still leaked, with all the fittings tight as possible, gasket dry as possible, etc. Now on my GSX, same issue. The oil return line is still leaking after so many efforts to stop it. I have tried everything, but it still leaks. Just use your stock t-25 oil return line, use a dremel and widen out the holes to match up with your 16G. You never have to worry about oil leaking from the return line again. The only thing usefull in there kit is the oil feedline, hardware, gaskets, and the J-pipe. That oil return line is useless.
