The hole intake manifold is black. And looks like oil residue. Is this normal for a car with 139,xxx miles on it? I have a brand new pcv valve installed. what can you clean it out with?

Yep it's normal. I always use parts cleaner or brake cleaner works.Put a breather on your valve cover, and cap off the nipple on your intake that will help cut down on the residue:thumb:
