I finally got the engine back in my car and was running it. Oil pressure on the dash was reading on the lower side. It was only idling for a bit and reved to like 3000 a couple times to see if the pressure would come up. I got out to check the timing belt to see if it had good tension and noticed a tiny drip of oil out of the t-belt cover. Pulled it off to find the nut for the oil pump sproket had come loose. I swear I torqued it on the stand but should i have put loctite on it or something. I know your supposed to loctite the nut on the oil pump gear inside.

Thanks for any help

Is the nut old or new? Yes I install a new nut with red loctite.
