Have a built 420a with a to4e 50trim. When I get on it hard(14psi) after letting off it smokes. It's blowing oil by the seal and into the exhaust. I've read that these motors have to high of oil pressure and they will blow turbos. It already has a restrictor in center cartridge of turbo and turbo was just rebuilt. I've read about using a regulator on oil line but can't find any info on where to buy or how to make a good one. I'll be hooking up my oil pressure gauge once the weather gets a bit nicer. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

The 420a motors don't have a high oil pressure issue, you are probably thinking of the 4g63 once the balance shaft is removed.

I see about 20 psi at idle, and stays between 45 and 60 on the gas. I run an oil cooler which has dropped the pressure a little bit.

How do you know it's the turbo seals leaking.
