if i have sufficient oil in my car the oil pressure gauge says its lowish and if i have low oil the oil pressure gauge says its too high???? i'm so confusedWTFWTFWTF:confused::confused::confused::confused:

What are you basing these assumptions on? The fact that the stock oil pressure gauge is pretty much useless, I would install an aftermarket gauge and see what exact psi readings you are getting before to concerned.

Installation, varies depending on the style of gauges you buy. You can buy electronic or mechanical boost. Which will mean running wires for the electrical type or vac lines for the mechanical.

Oil and Temp usually, are mechanical and involve running small oil pipes to the gauge from the old oil pressure sender, or temp probes that screw into the old temp sender hole. OR if you go electronic running wires from the sender units.

Either way you'll have to choose which type of gauges you want to install and follow the directions that come with them. Most importantly you'll have to decide how much money you want to spend. You'll get cheap kits from Autozone or end up buying expensive ones from reliable race shops that sell all sorts of cool styles.

Check out what the vendors have on here. They always have good deals.
I would stay awar from cheap gauges and stuff. Although they are not terrible I would personally just use a vendor to pick up some oil pressure, and/or water temp etc

I don't recommend installing a mechanical oil pressure gauge, as this requires an oil line to the gauge wich is usually mounted inside the cabin,if there is a leak or the line rupters, you are going to have oil(possibly hot oil) inside the cabin.
