Oil pressure wire

My oil pressure was not working so i look up under the car and found a white yellowish wire. Is that the wire for the oil pressure sending unit? I read some where that it suppose to be blue if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it thank's.

Yes it looks exactly like that color and all thank's...

Does this line control the dummy light, or is it only for the stock pressure gauge?

That is only for the gauge. The dummy light switch is on the other side, next to the oil filter.
