I just got my new clutch put in (ACT2100) and since then my oil light comes on only in nutral at a stop..once i give it some gas the light goes away..my pressure guage is low and when i rev it it goes up and stays in the middle like it should be..I dont know what the hell is going on..maybe some lines are crossed (i hope? )..I dont know what to do someone told me to get an oil pressure test but i dont wanna spend the 80$ its going to cost to do that if i can figure out the problem..any ideas =x:barf:

hopefully just a faulty cable clean up by your oil filter and make sure all the wires are clean and tight around there.

i donno if thats it because not only is it the lite at the idel..its also my oil pressure guauge..its low and then once i give it gas it starts to go up

oil pressure is RPM dependent, so it's gonna go up when you rev the motor. someone posted a picture but look in your owners manual for what the gauge should look like. mine's really low at idle too. I was freaked out when i did my 1st oil change on my talon, and the gauge seemed to sit really low, but i had it checked out and it was fine.

if you're really paranoid, my haynes manual lists (with a warm engine) 11 PSI max at idle for oil pressure.

harbor freight's got a $10 pressure gauge, you can unscrew the sending unit (which is most likely faulty) and screw on the test gauge, and make sure your car's not gonna blow up.

if it checks out, replace the sender.
