ok so im really getting mad with my dsm!! I just got my motor built and back in the car started it up and let it idle and warm up while setting my idle, timing and ### not. i drove it bout 2 miles to the gas staton thru some gas in it an went back to my garge. pulling into my garge the dumby light came on so i shut the car off quick checked the oil level (fine) and the sensor wire (fine) so started it back up and it had oil pressure. so drove it around breaking it in for about 15 miles. coming back into town by my garage the guage went down an light came back on. so i just went and bought an auto meter guage and put in to day. fired it up and still no pressure!!! im totally lost i dont understand how it can loose pressure shut it off then start it back up and have it agian for 15miles. some help would be greatly appreicated

If I were you I would find a mechanical gauge and hook it to a oil galley so for sure you know its not a eletrical issue. Have you replaced the sender as well when you installed the gauge?
