oil on the bottem of spark plug

hey guys i was messin around wit my motor one day checkin the plugs well when i took the one out thats on the left side of the motor the threads on it had oil on it. a buddy of mine who is a mechanic said upper intake gasket whick i think is the same as a plenum gasket not sure but anyway someone else said that it might not be the intake gasket can someone who knows what there talking about maybe narrow this down and what kind of price im looking at for fixing ill pry end up doing the work myself so no labor there. but the car runs and drives fine no sputtering or anything.

Does your valve cover leak? Intakes on our cars should not cause oil to be on the plugs, unless a pcv is stuck open. Could be a valve guide on the intake side of the head.

If your car runs fine and doesn't smoke I wouldn't worry too much about it.

where is the pcv located and how do you check it and the valve cover leaked when i first bought the car but i took care of that problem a day after i got it.

Replace your valve cover gaskets it worked for me

Pcv is a cheap fix an usually the problem.

My friends 4th cylinder spark plug hole was filled with oil, we pulled the plug an did a compression test an it made 5 lbs on that cylinder so i doubt you have this problem .

well i was racing a buddy that had a gsx and im running 20 psi and a huge fmic 650cc injectors walbro 255 safc2 and all that fun stuff and he said that my car should be pulling alot harder then it is so do you think maybe pcv

Replace the VC Gasket. It's the little grommets that go around the spark plug holes.

Don't over think this.
Seriously.
