Oil line/restrictor for FP Red?

Well once again asking a question here.
I will be eliminating the balance shaft on my 2g, I read that now oil pressure will go up after that and I will need a restrictor on the feed line.

I read a few threads about this and nothing specific for me, as you can see i can not post on "ask Justin" yet, so please help me to answer this.

after the balance shaft delete.

Do I need another feed line or a restrictor?

any changes on the drain line?

If yes where to buy them?


I want to keep my turbo as healthy as possible.

im not shure if you do, but i run my fp red at 100psi of oil pressure when im boosting and havent had any problems yet.

If it's new enough that it's still under warranty, feed it exactly as instructed by FP.

If it's out of warranty, feed from the filter housing with a .075-.080" restrictor to reduce the pressure at the inlet in an attempt to get it closer to a max of 48psi recommended by Mitsubishi.
