I just finished replacing the o-ring in my turbo because it was causing a pretty bad boost leak. I am currently working on reinstalling everything and I have one quick question I hope someone can help me out with. Do one of the holes in the banjo bolt need to line up with the oil line? Because it doesn't seem to be tight enough if it is and I don't want to over tighten it to line them up

It's a stock line and I know how they go in. I am talking about how the bolt has the hole at the top where if you are looking at the head of the bolt then it is the one going from side to side of the bolt, is that supposed to line up with the line or is it fine if it's not lined up?

That isn't necessary to line up. The oil will find its way through the line or bolt (whichever way you want to look at it) to get where it needs to go. Just make certain you don't over-tighten a banjo bolt. The bolt to the head is 10-14 ft. lbs; the bolt to the turbo is 20-25 ft. lbs.

Yea man don't over tighten a banjo I know from experience I had gotten a new turbo I couldn't get the right banjo anywhere so I forced one in had a leak took it off to tighten more n broke it.. And that takes time to get off :/ n then hope threads on turbo r still good so not worth it
