Hard fuel line repair/banjo bolt question

So after soaking my fuel filter over night I finally got those bolts off. Trying to get them off the other day resulted in breaking the fuel line from the fuel pump assembly to the fuel filter. Any ideas on a repair? I couldn't find much except some people just connected the two ends of the broken line with rubber fuel hose. I was thinking of doing that plus sealing the ends of the rubber hose with JB Weld (since it is gasoline safe). Any opinions? Need to have this car running ASAP!

Also, how can you make sure that the banjo bolt on the filter is lined up with the fuel line?
 
because i dont have the time or money to buy adapters here and there and run new lines and mount them and blah blah. I need it fixed tonight. Any ideas on the banjo bolt?
 
for the hardline fix...yes you can use rubber fuel hose but you need to get the fuel injector hose(usually about $4 a foot), not the standard fuel hose which is only rated to about 40psi tops...jb weld wont do you much good since it wont do anything if it sees pressure, so just buy some fuel injector hose clamps(they look like a ring, not the worm style) and clame them down good...I would also highly suggest flaring both sides of the broken metal line so that the clamps have something to press again under separation pressure...not sure what you mean on the banjo fitting question..could you be a little more specific and/or get some pics?
 
Yeah, I went and got fuel injector hose and just put it on there with hose clamps. everything seems to be good. I did decide against jb weld, like you said. Thats a good idea about flanging them but i didn't see that before I did it. It seems to be holding under boost and everything. The banjo bolt question was about lining up the hole in the bolt that the fuel flows throw with the part that it connected to the fuel hose. But what I did was just make a mark on the top of the bolt where the hole was so I would know which side it was on and just lined the hose up with that when I was finishing tightening it.
 
if you look at the inside of the nut on the banjo bolt it is groved all the way around.
so no matter where it is tightened fluid will flow around the inside of the nut, but a straight shot is always better.
